"Guaranteed 90% Mindless!"

Welcome to 2007

This was our second New Year's celebration in Vegas but it was a lot cheaper this year since we didn't have to pay for a room. Lisa and Pete joined us along with their friends Ryan and Cindy. Once again we stood on the Tropicana lawn to watch the fireworks. It's pretty spectacular when half a million dollars worth of fireworks are being launched from the roofs of ten casinos at the stroke of midnight with 300,000 people standing on Las Vegas Blvd. It's even better with 190 Octane in hand!
Our view wasn't quite as good this year because the fireworks were arranged at different casinos. The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of flashing. You'd think the Mardi Gras style beads a lot of people were wearing and copious amounts of alcohol would lead to some flashing but no! Is 30° too cold for flashing? I don't think so. Regardless, we had a blast and recommend it to everybody.

A few days ago I was watching either Discovery Channel or Court TV and they had a special on New Years Eve in Vegas. They were showing cops walking around the strip looking for women who were flashing and giving them citations if they got caught. Perhaps that and the weather were the reasons why you didn't see much.

Damn the Man! They always have to screw up a good thing. The showing of boobies should be rewarded and encouraged, not punished. Who writes these freaking laws?!?!?!

I agree, especially in Vegas. Vegas used to be a place for both kids and adults, but I feel that it is exclusively for adults now. Therefore, the laws should be more lenient, at least on the strip.
