Stupid is as stupid does.
After a run-in with one of the intellectually challenged here at work today, I was reminded of one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. As most of you know, my memory is terrible and I am lucky if I remember yesterday, but I shall never forget this!
I was playing blackjack and and the dealer misdealt his own hand revealing an 18. After consulting the pit boss, the dealer was instructed to continue with the hand. This obviously gave the advantage to us players because we knew exactly what we had to beat. The two young women at the end of the table proceeded to complain to the deal and then to the pit boss that this was somehow unfair. The rest of us tried to explain to them that it was a good thing but this was beyond their comprehension. I know... you're thinking "That's pretty stupid!", but wait... it gets worse! Despite their protests, the hand was allowed to be played as usual. One of women stood on a 17! It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it.

At this point I would be willing to take the $5 loss and peg the woman in the head with my chip.

I probably should have done that but I would use a silver dollar as long as I hadn't given them all to the cocktail waitress. It's cheaper and would hurt more. Although, these chicks obviously don't need any more brain damage.

WTF?!

Idiots!!! I think had we all been at a table with these crack whores that we should have all taken a chip and thrown it as hard as we could...hopefully knocking some freaking sense into their heads! Or at least hurting them enough to leave the table.

I've heard some dumb stories, but that one might be the dumbest of all time. I don't understand what that woman was thinking. How stubborn can a person be??

"I don't understand what that woman was thinking." She wasn't. The hamster wheel in her head may have been spinning but I wouldn't call that thinking.
