I Am Legend Movie
The trailer for the latest film adaptation of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend is now available. You can check it out here. I am very excited about the movie because I loved the book. The trailer is a little misleading (assuming the movie is a faithful recreation of the book) but this is not unusual for an early teaser. Future iterations will probably be different.
This will be the third film adaptation of I Am Legend. The first was called The Last Man on Earth (starring Vincent Price) and then The Omega Man (starring Charlton Heston). I haven't seen them because they apparently have very little in common with the book. The upcoming movie stars Will Smith and is directed by Ridley Scott. I have come to expect good things from Scott so I am hoping for an accurate recreation.
If you haven't read I Am Legend, you have until December. It's a short read but extremely good so go get it!

White Zombie wrote a song called I Am Legend, which is based on the book and movies. It's on their 1992 album, La Sexorcisto. I have not seen any of the movies.

There have been a lot of songs titled or based on I Am Legend. I think there is a band by that name too.
On a side note, the movie What Dreams May Come (starring Robin Williams) is based on a Richard Matheson novel.
