Gary's Schecter Bass

Gary wanted me to post this picture for him but his post-production skills suck so it doesn't look too good. He described the bass as a Stiletto Deluxe-4 but the color and inlays look a lot more like the Stiletto Custom-4 with Vampire Red Satin finish seen here but with the black "Diamond Series" headstock. I'm not sure what to make of it. It looks like a Frankenstein put together from discarded parts. If those are EMG pickups, he got a great deal.

Will that bass ever leave the case? Or is this a picture of it's future life? For the bands sake, we really need to step up our playing. How else am I supposed to be able to retire early unless we start bringing in some tour money?

I agree. I wasn't cut out for working. We really need to get moving on our one hit that makes us rich.

Judging by what I am hearing on the radio, it should take us no more then the weekend to write something that would surpass the creative level of those songs. Of course being creative and being popular are two different things. I used to think being creative and writing good music was better?? I guess not anymore.

Being creative and writing good music IS better. It's just not profitable.

Very funny. I took the pic a few hours after I brought the instrument home. I have been playing at least every other day since then. I think I am much better than I was a few years ago. I know that isn't saying much.
After I can play 10 or 12 songs on a consistent level without having to look at tablature, I will email you guys the songs and perhaps we can agree on a few to play after you learn them. Feel free to also let me know which songs you like to play.
I think the pickups I have are Diamond Plus.
