When will I learn?
I was playing video poker while eating my lunch at PT's this week and something amazing happened. Amazingly lame that is. I usually play max credits on machines but cash has been in short supply lately so I was only betting 25ยข per hand. Of course, this is when I get a royal flush. A royal freaking flush! The first time I get a royal flush on video poker and I'm only betting a quarter. I made $62.50 instead of the $2200 progressive. Dammit! I'll probably never get another one. Learn from my mistakes people.

That's a real bummer. I usually dont play the $1 progressive in Caribbean Stud hands because I never get anything better than a 2 pair. One day I'll get 4 of a kind or a royal flush and forever regret it.

That is exactly why you have to play the extra dollar. Not because you think you will get the royal but because you have to live with yourself if you do.
