Housing Saga Update

To my amazement, with clentched fist raised in defiance of the odds, I just got prequalified to buy the house! I have to give mad props to Tim at CTX Mortgage. He had his work cut out for him but he pulled through.
Now we have to go to Vegas this weekend and write a contract for the house and lock in the upgrades. Unfortunately, this weekend is Cinco de Mayo weekend and Vegas is hosting the De la Hoya fight. Combined, these factors have driven room rates unaffordably high so we cant stay there. We will either do a turn around trip tomorrow or stay in Laughlin but sleeping in Vegas is out of the question. Maybe we can sneek into one of the model homes and sleep there.
