What are your favorite movies?
Since we did a Top 5 Novels list, it naturally follows that we should make a Top 5 Movies list. So what are they? (it's ok to count trilogies together) I couldn't narrow it down to 5 so include however many you like. Here are mine in no particular order:
-Braveheart
-Gladiator
-The Usual Suspects
-Lord of the Rings (all 3)
-Star Wars (episodes 3-6 only!)
-The Shawshank Redemption
-Equilibrium
-Saving Private Ryan
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-Reservoir Dogs

I knew this was coming.
Once again in no particular order:
Back to the Future Trilogy
The Breakfast Club
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder - the original)
A Christmas Story
Indiana Jones Trilogy
I'm very 80's biased.
11:53 AM
Are you serious about Back to the Future? Please tell me you are kidding!
12:18 PM
Absolutely not!! I would also like to add A Princess Bride.
1:17 PM
The title of your thread is your favorite movies, not the greatest movies ever made.
1:17 PM
You got me there. A movie doesn't necessarily have to be good for you to like it. In that case, I would like to add Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo to my list. I never get tired of it.
BTW - I'm with you on the Gene Wilder thing.
2:45 PM
Hmmm...I'm going to have to think about this.
5:42 PM
My favorite are mostly some of the newer ones.
Miracle
Napolean Dynamite
Pirates of the Caribbean
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
Pulp Fiction
Honorable Mention: Munich
9:50 PM
I'm a little suprised at the selections so far. Not what I expected. I bet the blooper reel on the Rina in da OC - Unrated Edition DVD is hilarious.
8:44 AM
Originally we weren't going to have the bloopers on there, but our fans requested an unrated version. You can imagine how entertaining the bloopers are!
11:49 AM
just as long as gary and rina in da OC isn't a pam and tommy kinda thing....
11:51 AM
ok here are some of my pics, no particular order, and probably not complete. I have been in a fog for the past 2 days.
-Tremors (classically cheesy)
-My Best Friend's Wedding (except the singing scene, I fast forward through that)
-A League of Their Own
-Xmen movies (I'm sure I'll love the new one)
-Back to the Future trilogy (I have to agree with Dan on this one)
-Lord of the Rings trilogy
-Star Wars (ALL of them, I enjoyed them, :P, Empire still the best though)
-Deuce Bigelow
Does Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill count? I could watch that everyday.
11:59 AM
Et tu, Niki? This Back to the Future stuff is killing me.
There's just something about Tremors. It's so cheesy but I have to watch it every time I come across it when channel surfing.
Pam and Tommy.... ew. "You rock, baby!" Those words are burned into my brain forever.
12:08 PM
I know, I love torturing you. It's fun and so easy all at the same time.
12:10 PM
Oh, I'm easy alright. I put out at the drop of a hat.
12:32 PM
Me?? Easy?? hah no way. You have to wine and dine me, open all doors for me, and tell me how good looking I am. Oh, and you better bring flowers! :-)~
1:51 PM
Or just give him one wine cooler. Just be careful when he asks "Does this make me look fat?"!
