Oh come on!
Why is it that Guitar Hero gets exponentially harder with each skill level step? I didn't think the 5th fret button would be used until "expert" mode. Did it escape their attention that the average human hand has only 4 fingers plus thumb? I have three possible explanations:
1 - It was developed from alien technology.
2 - The very forward-thinking Red Octane has anticipated the next step in human evolution*.
3 - They are evil.
* An extra finger would obviously confer a selective advantage as it would allow faster typing so one could pick up more chicks on the internet.

I haven't had a problem with the 5th button. When you have to play it you just adjust everything to the right, so that the number 2 button now serves as the number 1 button. When you have to play the 1st button you switch everything back to the left.
I have a serious problem playing the 3 button chords. I can play the strangest looking and very complex chords on a guitar, but tell me to hit 3 colored buttons at the same time and I'm reduced to the mental state of a 3 year old.

I try to adjust everything left or right but when I have to go back, I end up on the wrong buttons and miss the next 5 or six notes. I guess it'll come with practice.
The only problem I have with chords is when they are mixed with single notes in rapid succession.
