Rock Band update
Behold! These are pictures of the guitar from Rock Band. They obviously went for a more realistic look for the Strat modeled controller. There are 10 frets instead of 5 (the second set for solos) and a pickup selector switch. No pics yet of the other instruments.

Hell, why don't they just give you a real guitar and have tab scrolling across the screen?

I have to agree. 5 fret buttons is enough for me.
Now that you mention it, you may be on to something. That would be an excellent teaching tool for people learning guitar. You ought to market that idea. It would be expensive and not for gamers but I would be interested.
