Up The Irons Bitches

It finally happened. I purchased an Iron Maiden Signature Fender. I check ebay almost every day for one of these, then watch as the "enthusiastically played" guitar's price climbs over $1,000. I logged on to ebay this morning and saw another one that was put up for sale. However, this had a buy it now price of $700 and the guitar is as close to mint as a guitar that is 5 years old can be (also included a case). Sold. I think I have already made a profit on this purchase, of course I still need to see it live before I can make that determination. This should be in my grubby little hands sometime next week.

Congratulations Dan! Maybe that will make up for missing the opportunity to ever buy a guitar from Ed Roman. My question is; how much of an idiot did the seller have to be to set the BIN price at $700? He could have gotten twice that. You really lucked out this time.

I was wondering that too and thought something may be wrong with it. Turns out he paid $800 new and just wanted to make some money back. $700 is usually the starting bid, if that low, he started the bidding at only $500. I just ran into someone who didn't realize the actual value of the guitar.

Nice deal! Hopefully the guitar is in really good condition. I sense that there are possible future jam sessions in Las Vegas.

Now if we could just get Evan to bring his drums to Vegas.

I think it would make more sense to wait until Aaron comes out here again and then jam at Evans?

Yes, that works too. However, you can't beat the Vegas atmosphere.
