Top 10 Things I Remembered That I Forgot...
After laughing (a lot) at all the in jokes and regular jokes and everything else in the archives, I present, fresh from the home office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, my Top 10 Things from the archives.
10. Guitars
Aaron has gone nuts with guitars. Apparently Dan was already. And Gary has multiple basses. I do also believe that there was a Yama reference in there somewhere? We will need to investigate this further.
I noticed that no mention was made of my white Squier bass that's floating around somewhere. We get a Yama reference but nobody can remember where my white bass went. That guitar has sentimental value! It was the one I used for every recording session, live show, encore, cameo, movie appearance, and reunion tour that Twine did.
Oops. I said the name. I forgot I wasn't supposed to do that until #9.
9. The Twine Reunion "This Will Be The Last Time, We Mean It" Tour
With all the Monkeywrench reunions, I guess we first need to determine if Twine is officially broken up or not? Otherwise there could be potentially messy and bitter legal proceedings.
8. Sorry, Aaron, you get no sympathy over the cold weather.
7. Or the hot weather.
6. Or the humid weather.
5. Lightning
Aaron does, however, get much love and respect for his lightning photos. That's something I can deal with!
4. Bootsy!
This needs no further explanation.
3. Rockwall County
Well, I'm probably the only one bummed that Dan and Emily might not be moving to Dallas. Rockwall County is hilarious though. Teeny little county. The estate Dan talked about purchasing out there might have been the entire county.
2. Square Counties
In addition to the nice organization in states like Iowa and Michigan, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and some other flat states also use square counties. This is extraordinarily convenient for storm chasing...
Storm Chaser #1: "Where's the storm at?"
Storm Chaser #2: "It's in Blahblahbiddyblah County!"
Storm Chaser #1: "Which one's that?"
Storm Chaser #2: "Fourth row, third from the left!"
1. Subdivisions
Any escape might help disprove the unattractive truth that the Southards have no charms to soothe the restless dreams of youth!

I hope you didn't read the whole thing. What a colossal waste of time! Here are my responses:
10. Fair warning: spend enough time on this blog and you might catch the fever too.
9. Twine? Oh no you di'it!
8/7/6. That is what you get for living in Oklahoma.
5. See my next post.
4. Need no reponse.
3. Good riddance.
2. The only thing the flat states did right.
1. No more Rush references!

Yama still has my Fender, I just know it.
James, I think your bass is in the hands of Evan, who doesn't think he has it but actually does.
It's all very complicated.
1:09 PM
Hah I thought Yama had both Dan's Fender and James' bass. Let's not forget that Sanat has Aaron's Last Action Hero Soundtrack. Oops, I said his name AGAIN. I'm getting very close to being kicked off this blog.
James, back when the Troopers were still alive, we played a team that featured Yama and Eric. We played them 2 or 3 times.
1:37 PM
That's my Last Action Hero Soundtrack damnit!! Mine!!!!
1:42 PM
At this point, does it really matter whose Last Action Hero Soundtrack it was? It's time to start the healing Dan.
1:46 PM
No way, too soon. You got to give me some time here.
2:21 PM
I can loan you my Last Action Hero soundtrack if it's that important to you.
Oh good lord... Yama and Eric... both still alive... and both on the same team. Did Eric get a roughing major during the game? Did Yama get a 10 minute misconduct for throwing a fit?
I wonder if I can bargain with Evan for my bass. Maybe he's just been holding it for ransom all these years?
4:40 PM
No to the questions regarding Yama and Eric. I was waiting for Yama to take a 15 minute break after the first 5 minutes of the game, but that didn't happen.
