The party's over...

Once again, my vacation has come to an end far too soon. Vacation is really the temporary fulfillment of a dream for me because my dream is to get paid to do nothing. Obviously I get paid a lot MORE to do nothing in my dreams but it's a step in the right direction. They say "Find a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life" but that's a bunch of bullshit because nothing I love doing could be considered a legitimate profession.
Anyway, my vacation was good if overly brief. Dan and Emily were here for a large portion of it and we had a lot of fun. Among other things, we gambled, drank large quantities of Guinness, ate at Battista's Hole in the Wall, and went to a Yellow Brick Road (best cover band EVER!) concert.
We also went to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of the Crystal Skull. Here is my full review: It was stupid! Just stupid. That's all.

The movie was that bad, huh? I heard it was cheesy and I havent seen it because other movies have been higher on my list. Now I know I won't be seeing it.

Yes, it was that bad. I enjoyed the first half and then it just got rediculous. The Last Crusade should have been the last crusade.
I have also heard that The Happening is bad but I'm going to see it anyway. Shyamalan's track record earns him the benefit of the doubt.

I would have enjoyed losing $100 at the video poker machine for free beer then seeing the last Indy movie.
I have read alot about The Happening and it sounds like I am really going to hate it. With that said, I'm still going to go see it.

I'm not going to see The Happening. It doesnt look good at all. M. Night's last movie, Lady In The Water, was supposedly really bad also. I didn't see it. I did see The Village, which was terrible.

The Village was actually one of his better movies. This guy is really hit or miss.
