Michael Crichton we hardly knew ye.....

Michael Crichton passed today. I don’t believe it was ever revealed until now, but he has been fighting cancer. I have read all his books and always found them to be pretty interesting and easy to read. I would always pick up a new one when it was released since I could finish it in a day or two. He did create some controversy with some of his scientific view points. (State of Fear was an anti global warming love fest). However, that never really bothered me since I didn’t read any of his books for any sort of scientific reference anyway. There is a reason his books are located in the fiction section.
For those of you who haven’t read his books you would know him as the creator of ER and Jurassic Park.
An interesting side note, I had no idea he was 6’9”.
