My apologies to Paul Gilbert

I originally scoffed at the idea of a former Mr. Big guitarist playing G3. I now know how wrong I was. From what I saw on youtube, he is a VERY talented guitarist. Now the question is.... why the hell was he in Mr. Big?!?!?

Wasn't I the one who told you that Paul Gilbert was good, regardless of the fact that he was in Mr. Big? Furthermore, Mr. Big was a good band back in the day.

Mr. Big was not that bad. They were actually decent. I have only heard a few of their songs and they were pretty good. Billy Sheehan, one of the better bassists you will hear, was also in that band. They opened for Rush in 1989.

Maybe you guys have heard more Mr. Big than I have but I think they suck. More than Words? C'mon!

Wrong song man. More Than Words was written by Extreme. Mr. Big's 2 hits are "To Be With You" and "Addicted To That Rush."

By the way, More Than Words is one of the worst Extreme songs imo. The rest of the songs on that album, Extreme II(Pornograffiti) is AWESOME. It's a combination of Van Halen and Queen.

More Than Word and To Be With You might as well be the same song. Bleh. I can't stand most of those late 80s/early 90s metal ballads.

Mr. Big totally rocked if you listened to the whole album. "To be with you" was their popular song. I'm sure they only recorded it to get their name out there. I loved it and I don't care what anyone says. Pornograffiti is a phenomenal album. Still one of my favorites. "more than words" is nothing like anything else on the album. I always thought it was kind of out of place. Just my take on it.
