The next generation of music sims

Guitar Hero developer Harmonix is making a new music sim called Rock Band for Xbox360 and PS3. It will be similar to Guitar Hero but you will not be limited to guitar. With the purchase of different peripherals, you can play guitar, bass (presumably with the same peripheral), drums, and rock the mic. Details are scarce at this point and there is no word yet about pricing or bundle configurations. It is confirmed, however, that the Xbox360 GH2 owners will be able to use the same guitar. Release is set for Holiday 2007.
