Shrek 3 more like number 2?

Despite very strong box office numbers for it's opening weekend, Shrek the Third is getting very poor reviews. I can't say I'm terribly surprised. I felt that the franchise had pretty much said all there was to say by the second film. Fart jokes just don't do it for me anyway but I'm sure Niki will make me see it anyway.
