Disturbing news indeed

In a time when we are already besieged by traumatizing news headlines on a daily basis, this has to be one of the most horrifying. Trampoline injuries are on a dramatic rise, more than doubling in the past decade! Oh, the humanity.
My favorite part of the article is this quote:

"the trampoline should never be used in home or recreational settings."

So.... exactly where should a trampoline be used?
Is no childhood activity safe anymore? It's obviously best to keep kids indoors where they have nice safe access to brutally violent movies/video games and unlimited internet porn.
