Only the good die young

Vegas will soon say goodbye to the delightfully tacky Hooters Casino. The laid back atmosphere and pleasant staff have made it one of my favorite casinos so I will be sad to see it go. I will not miss their shrimp cocktail (yuck!). The buyers say they want to turn it into a boutique hotel and casino. I usually associate the word "boutique" with the words "boring" and "expensive" so they probably wont be getting my business.

Until they blow it up and build a new one I will never get over the fact that it used to be San Remo. It will always be tainted. They can put in millions of dollars in upgrades and have the classiest casino but it will STILL be the old San Remo hotel.

In my eyes, it will be the San Remo until they replace the elevators. Those things are rediculous. Once the elevators are gone, I can let go of the past.

Not good enough. I require total annihilation.

I went to the Hooters Casino one time for an hour and I wasn't impressed at all. The gaming area was small and they didn't have some of the games that I like. It's possible that they were still renovating at the time that I went.

They weren't renovating, they just have a small casino floor so they don't have room for a big variety of games.

I think Dan is getting a little cantankerous in his old age!
