Costumed Adventures
Niki and I went to a Halloween party hosted by my friend Cesar and did something we haven't done in a long time. We wore costumes. I realise now that I kind of miss it. Sitting at home waiting for trick or treaters just isn't that fun. Niki went as a saucy Pirate Wench and I was Rorschach (a character from the Watchmen graphic novel and upcoming movie). Nobody recognized my costume but I guarantee it will be a popular one next year. The one trick or treater I answered the door for was so freaked out by my costume he wouldn't approach the door to collect his candy. Fortunately, he brought his mom.

Even Jesus came to the party. I always pictured him as more of a red wine man but he apparently prefers Newcastle.

I'm looking forward to next Halloween.

Newcastle = The new blood of Christ.
Emily and I were rocking out at the Meatloaf concert on Halloween night. You would not believe the amount of people who actually thought we were going out to eat meatloaf when asked what we had planned that night.

Nice costume Aaron. On Halloween I went to a party with my sister at her friend's house in Huntington Beach. I went as a pirate.

Why would anybody go out to eat meatloaf? I never have ordered meatloaf in a restaurant and can almost guarantee I never will. Its a good thing you weren't going to see the Sex Pistols.
Thanks Gary. I think Niki and I did a pretty good job making it. I couldn't see or breathe well and I was hot as hell but at least it looked authentic. Pirate seemed to be a popular costume this year and yet there were very few ninjas. I guess we can see who's winning that debate.

Next year if we go out I want to go as a Plague Doctor. It will give me a good reason to beat people away with a stick.

Ooooo that's a good idea. I contemplated getting an evil jester costume until I realized it didn't come with the stick in the picture. What's the point if it doesn't come with a beating stick?
