Home is where the jacuzzi is

After much searching and thinking, we have decided to rent an apartment rather than a house. We were having trouble finding a house that met all our criteria that wasn't a rip off. The rent wasn't that bad but most required ridiculous deposits that usually added up to about $3000+ to move in. I was also concerned that we would would get comfortable in a house just to be kicked out when it goes into foreclosure (that has been happening a lot here). I'm not about to put that kind of money into something that is essentially a gamble.
We found a very nice 1200 sp. ft. 2br/2b in south Summerlin (an area we love) for $990/m. With move in specials and incentives, we should be able to move in for about $700. There is a huge resort style pool/jacuzzi and well appointed fitness center that are both open 24/7. That is a big bonus for me because I frequently get the urge to hit the jacuzzi at about 10pm. We should be able to start moving in this weekend. You can see pictures and a map here.
As an added bonus, we will be living just a few blocks from the Las Vegas Ice Center. They have reasonably priced adult leagues there and I hope to start playing in spring.

I'm glad you found a place so quickly. Do you have roller hockey options near you instead of ice? It might be a better deal for you.

I charge $5900 for a tenant to move into one of my Chino Hills houses. The move-in includes first month, last month, and deposit. It's a lot of money, but the rent justifies it. I figure that if the tenant can afford the rent, they can afford the move-in price.
