Transferred Again

They did it to me again. I got transferred to a new account with no notice at all. My boss showed up at the airport and basically told me to get my stuff and go. I hate it when they do that. I would be pissed if I wasn't so happy about the move.
Some accounts are more concerned that your paper work is in order than if the machines work. The tyrant who I reported to at McCarran decided one day that a weekly supply inventory was critical despite the fact that I had never run out of a single item. That's just stupid. I was thrilled to get out of there.
I now work at UNLV. I'm the lead of a two man operation responsible for the maintenance of about 200 machines. The attitude here is very laid back and they don't really care what I do or how I do it as long as the machines keep running. I love that! I almost feel like I'm on vacation. I think I'll take the golf cart for a spin and look at all the hot young college girls.
