THE LA KINGS HAVE FIRED DAVE TAYLOR
Just as I predicted, the Kings have fired general manager Dave Taylor. That's the first step in a overhaul of the roster. With Luc Robitaille unfortunately retiring, the unlikely event that Jeremy Roenick will be re-signed, the probable trade of Sean Avery this summer, and no solid up and coming players on the minor league team, the Kings are in state of flux and we haven't even talked about a new coaching staff.

The King's have made an offer to Dean Lombardi for GM. Dave Taylor will stay in the organization since he has 1 year left on his contract. Not sure in what capacity? Lombardi was the former scout for the Flyers and GM for the Sharks.
The King's still have young talent in the system, and on the team. However, there should be a whole new look to this team next year. I don't know what to expect yet.
