"Guaranteed 90% Mindless!"

Say hello to the newest member of our family!

Niki just put a deposit on this chihuahua puppy. The breeder (local to Vegas) will hold on to him until he is completely weaned and accustomed to the smell of puppy pads but we may be able to take him home as soon as the first of October. We were very impressed by the attitude and practices of the breeder. They seem to do it purely for the love of the breed and are not as profit minded as some.
Now comes the interesting part. We haven't decided on a name yet. Choosing a proper name is of the utmost importance for a breed with such heritage and unique characteristics. I vote for Taco. Any suggestions?

I say Alexander. That way when either Niki or your mom say "Aaron Alexander Kinsman!" they are referring to both you and the dog.

By the way, that dog looks a LOT cuter than other Chihuahua's I have seen.

I told you, no snacks or meal type things for names! Veto is not a name either. I'm sure it's a Soprano though. I'm sorry, but Cecil will not do. No matter what we name him, i'm sure he'll respond to "no" and "damn dog".

Guido? At least he will have some leverage in the dog community. Maybe run his own crime syndicate? I realize he is Mexican and not Italian, but with the proper accent it could work.

I definitely have to say no to Alexander.
As for his appearance, he is very young in that picture and will take on a more classical chihuahua look as he grows up. However, his features will not be as exagerated as you sometimes see. The apple dome head and bat ears are more sought after traits which fetch a significantly higher price. One of the factors that helped us choose this dog in particular was his price tag. We will not be breeding or showing him so these are of no concern to us.

Tony Montana would work for a latino crime boss.
How about Del Scorcho?

When I said veto, I meant I was vetoing your idea. Not name him Veto.

We thought we had a last minute moving disaster but it's ok now. We were afraid we would have to have to mobile mini unloaded by 11am Saturday morning (before we even plan to be there) but we rescheduled. Nevermind.
