Guitar Hero IV wish list
IGN has a wish list of songs they would like to see in Guitar Hero IV. Some of them are right on (Crazy Train, Layla, Sweating Bullets) and some are just stupid (Beat It, Comfortably Numb). Some of the best and worst ideas can be found in the comments section. Somebody mentioned Holy Diver (hell yeah!) but then ruined it by specifying that it should be the Killswitch Engage version (boo!). I stopped reading the comments when somebody suggested I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness.
Any suggestions from the peanut gallery?

I am surprised we have yet to see AC/DC represented in any of these games. They have some of the most recognizable riffs ever recorded.
While Comfortably Numb is an excellent song, it would leave alot to be desired since most of it is just strumming chords.
Also, I heard the Killswitch Engage cover of Holy Diver a few days ago. Some bands should not be allowed to do covers, and some songs should not be allowed to be covered.

Well I am going to vote for songs like The Spirit of Radio, Highway To Hell, Holy Diver(real version), Livin' On A Prayer, Them Bones, Round and Round, I Dont Believe In Love, and some Dream Theater song. Considering how good John Petrucci is, it is a crime that a Dream Theater song isn't on a GH game.

Megadeth, Tool, Pantera, AC/DC, Queensryche, and Dream Theater are definitely under represented in GH. At least Rock Band has 2 (soon to be 3) Maiden Songs. Helloween would be nice but I won't hold my breath. Maybe some Type O.
I would love some more Avenged Sevenfold. I would put money on seeing another song by them (Almost Easy or Afterlife) in GH4.
I think we all agree that Killswitch Engage did a hideous cover of Holy Diver. I like their song My Curse but they should stay away from the classics.

Wonder if there's any B-52's stuff... they could go with the hits like Roam or Love Shack... or go old school with Rock Lobster and Private Idaho. Hmmm...

Although, I'd like to see some cheesy glam rock stuff. That would be awsome!!!!

Yeah, she knows that. Unfortunately, there are some issues with GH80s on PS3 because of the controllers.
