Why I love Vegas

The attitude! Everything is so much more laid back here. Here's an example: I had a Xerox Town Hall meeting after work last night. Attendance was mandatory and participants earned two hours of overtime. Here comes the interesting part. It was held at a BAR called The Slanted Clam. The walls there are plastered with posters and pictures of women in bikinis (or less in the Men's room). Many employees including my manager were drinking beer during the meeting! That kind of thing would never be tolerated in So Cal.
Here are some other little known facts about Vegas:
- Some of the best food in Vegas is found in bars. They all serve food and a lot of people get their lunch in bars rather than fast food.
- All restaurants and bars serve wings.
- Every restaurant off the strip will have Frank's Redhot on the table. It was really weird going to a place called Gyro Time and seeing everybody putting Frank's on their gyro.
