Xerox Poker League Final Results

We had the last two games (two because the Dec. game was cancelled) of the XPL innaugural season last Friday. I didn't do well in either game but still had enough points to tie for 2nd place for the season. With the exception of a 3rd place finish by James (1st place winner for the season) all the points in both games went to players who were not considered contenders to finish in the money.
In the final game Cesar, who was still without any points for the season, came up big time and took second place. This didn't put him anywhere near the money but it soothed his bruised ego. More importantly, he was able to eliminate the two players who had a chance to pass me in the standings.
When the final season points were tallied we ended up with a three way tie for 2nd place. 1st place was awared $600 and the three 2nd place finishers split the money that was intended to pay 2nd and 3rd. I walked away with $133.
