Guitar Hero II
I hope you all have your copy of Guitar Hero II now. You'll be glad to know that I will be able to join in the fun soon. GH2 should be coming to Xbox360 early next year. Very few details have been released about it yet but a working was playable at the X06 show in Barcelona. The prototype guitar for the 360 version was based on the Gibson X-Plorer and will hopefully be like the final model. It is speculated to be wireless too. The new set list looks pretty good. Bad Religion was conspicuously absent but Megadeth was strongly represented and Avenged Sevenfold contributed a song. I can't wait!

Picked up Guitar Hero II on opening day Tuesday, and completed it last night. Yes, I did manage to finish the final song Freebird, which kicks ass at the same time it kicks your ass. Guitar Hero II will also be making an appearance at Mark's house Saturday night. I look forward to seeing Gary kick some ass while he plays the bass for YYZ. All I want is a Pepsi, so I will be playing Institutionalized.

Hell yeah man. Can't wait to take on Yyz. I saw a couple of dudes playing that song at Best Buy. Too bad there isn't a bass to play in that game.

That's what is different about the new version. You can play the bass line. You play in 2 player mode, someone plays the lead and another person plays the bass.

ok well this is going to be awesome. There are 3 bass solos in that song. What an adventure that will be.
